Rehearses: 10/8/10-10/31/10. Performs: 11/1/10 (2 performances)

Actors must be available to audition and rehearse in NYC. No Housing provided.

NYC auditions will be held on an upcoming date to be determined.

Important Casting Note: All actors must speak Spanish fluently. All must sing and dance and have pop/rock voices. Ethnic Actors encouraged to submit. All actors signed to Actor/ASM contract.

Seeking:

Dora:

(18+ female to play 15, Musical Theatre/Pop Soprano belt) : She is a feisty, strong willed, 15 year old. She's trying to figure out her identity. Scared but determined.


El Cubano/Scarecrow:

(18+ male to play multiple roles, Latin Pop Baritenor) Sweet, energetic, smart, wants to be heard but his thoughts race too quickly for his mouth.


Tino:

(18+ male to play multiple roles; Legit/Pop Tenor): Good-natured, a dreamer, solid guy, but a softy. And he’s funny too.


La Flaca/Coyote:

(18+ female to play multiple roles. Pop/Folk Alto) Emo, dark and melancholy, but really a romantic.


La Bruja:

(18+ female to play multiple roles. Musical Theatre Mezzo Belter): Sophisticated and smooth, but snake like, tricky, and even a little mean.


Mother/Wizard:

(18+ female to play multiple roles. Musical Theatre/Pop Soprano) A comic diva- Big Personality, Big Ego. She’s a Superstar.
