Single Engagement Agreement

$604 weekly minimum (Cat. 2, Tier B)

SEEKING

Equity actors for the role of Prospero in THE TEMPEST. Local Baltimore-area actors are encouraged to audition.

Rehearsals: Six days a week — Monday through Thursday, 7:00 PM–10:00 PM; Saturday and Sunday, 11:00 AM–5:00 PM.

PROSPERO

Any race or ethnicity, male presenting, 40s and older. The former Duke of Milan who wields magical powers on an island with his only child Miranda; seeking revenge against those who wronged him.

Performances: Thursday (7:30 PM), Friday (8:00 PM), Saturday (8:00 PM), and Sunday (2:00 PM).

There are two two-show days: Friday, May 8 (10:30 AM and 8:00 PM) and Saturday, May 9 (2:00 PM and 8:00 PM).

PREPARATION

Please prepare a classical monologue of your choice no longer than two minutes in length. Also, please bring your headshot and resume stapled together.

An Equity Monitor will not be provided. The producer will run all aspects of this audition.
