20s-30s. Damsel in distress.
Azaz:
Man, 30-40. Ruler of Dictionopolis. Forceful, comic character.
Mathemagician:
Man, 30-40. Azaz’s brother, ruler of Digitopolis. Forceful, comic character.
Four Advisors to Azaz:
Silly characters.
Terrible Trivium:
30-50. Fun character.
Ensemble:
Demons, Lethargarians, Miners, Citizens of Digit- and Diction-opolis.
The following roles are cast. Auditioning performers will be considered as possible (emergency) replacements, should any become necessary.
The Demon of Insincerity:
CAST. Ageless, athletic, villainous (as in Cruella DeVil).
The Senses Taker:
CAST. African American woman. Character role.
Princess of Rhyme:
CAST. African American woman, just past ingénue-age (30s).
The Whetherman:
CAST. Asian man. Ensemble role – minor character (Asian)
