For a five-minute appointment, call 404/712-9118, M-F 9-4, beginning Tuesday, 5/3. Note: This call's appointment list is separate from that of PERSUASION; the auditions will take place concurrently, in separate rooms. Equity Members without appointments will be seen throughout the audition day, as time permits.

Sides will be provided at the audition, and available at the theater and online in advance. In addition to reading from sides, please prepare a one- to two-minute monologue in Irish dialect from a 20th Century or later Irish playwright such as Shaw, Synge, O'Casey, Lady Gregory, Behan, Yeats, Friel, etc.

Please bring a picture & resume, stapled back-to-back.

Callbacks, if needed, will be held on Monday, 5/16.

Seeking (the following will be on Equity contracts):

Note: Theater Emory states that it casts entirely from the Atlanta / North Georgia area. No housing is available to out-of-area performers.

Christy:

AVAILABLE ROLE. Man, mid 40s-50s. Speaks with a Northern Irish accent. Leader of a small cell of INLA (Irish National Liberation Army) “soldiers” who aim to reunite Ireland. Cold-blooded and ruthless, but also sentimental and faux-philosophical at times.

Donny:

CAST. Auditioning performers will be considered as possible (emergency) replacements, should one become necessary. Man, 50s - early 60s. Speaks with an Irish accent. Father of a psychotic terrorist who is coming home to their small cottage on Inishmore, one of the Aran Islands in Galway Bay off the west coast of Ireland. Full of fear and complacency, but has a brusque manner and uses colorful language.
