SEEKING

Equity actors for immediate replacement for the role of James Ascher in PERFECT CRIME.

JAMES ASCHER - a very macho, swashbuckling detective - a sexy Columbo type. He is very strong and smart, and over the course of the play, solves the mystery and falls in love with the potential murderer. His relationship with the wealthy woman he thinks is the killer is a Katherine/Petruchio relationship - two people who initially hate each other and fight with each other - sometimes physically - but fall in love. 45 years or older and ideally would be at least 5' 11.

John Schneider (Dukes of Hazzard/Smallville) is currently playing the role for a limited run. This is for an open-ended contract but we would also consider a limited run for an established film or TV actor looking to work in NY for a month or two.
