If invited to audition, please prepare 16 bars of a pop/rock song and 16 bars of a traditional musical theater song. If auditioning for Cowboy, you will be asked to play a guitar provided by the producers.
In this crazy, campy musical adventure, Parker and Dizzy venture to reveal the murderer of the famed songstress at the Valley of the Balls nightclub. Her only clue: a cryptic scribble with her lipstick, leading them to dead bodies, drag queens, an evil mentor and the revelation of the gay holy grail,building to a fabulous climactic showdown. If “The Wizard of Oz” married “Star Wars” but cheated with “Thelma & Louise” and got pregnant by the “The Da Vinci Code”, the baby would be this show!

Cowboy / Cutesy:
Male, 20s-30s. Handsome, physically fit. Looking for love. Actor must play guitar.
Victoria:
Male, 20s-40s. Drag queen.
Mysterious Man / Rainbow:
Male, 20s - early 30s. Menacing hit-man. Sexy. Actor must be comfortable performing in underwear.
The Mentor:
Male, 25-50s. Drag role. The villain; think Emperor from “Star Wars”. Bears an uncanny resemblance to Liza Minnelli.
Elmo:
Male, 20s-30s. Very “emo”. Depressed.
Old Man Jasper:
Male, 60s-80s. Horny, troll-like.
Esther, Ginger and Lily:
Male, 25-40s. Drag queens.
Claire:
25-40s. Played by a woman (or man in drag). Claire is psychic. Actor should be good with “patter” singing.
Katesta:
25-40s. Played by a woman (or man in drag). Katesta is mother of eight tethered children. Maniacal.
Crawford:
Female, 20s-40s. Clone of Joan Crawford. Pop-rock belt.
Tabetha:
Female, 25-40s. Domineering, stage combat a plus.
Lorna:
Female, 40s-50s. Brassy belter.
Ekajati:
Female, 30s-60s. Short, one-toothed, one-eyed sage.
Woman:
60s-70s. Short, resembles Judy Garland.
