SEEKING

Equity chorus singers for Developmental work sessions for PAL JOEY.

FEMALE PRESENTING ENSEMBLE - (20s - 40s) Any ethnicity. Various roles include chorus girls at a Chicago nightclub in the early 1940s - elegant and fierce, and other characters that inhabit Joey’s world. All must be excellent dancers who sing and act well, and some but not all roles require very strong tap skills.

MALE PRESENTING ENSEMBLE - (20s - 40s) Any ethnicity. Various characters - the cats,” Bucky “Bubbles” Hawkins, radio announcers, maître d’s, etc. - that inhabit the club or Joey’s world. All must be excellent dancers who sing and act well, and some but not all roles require very strong tap skills.

There are no Equity stage managerial positions available.

PREPARATION

Please sing a short song of your choice from the period - we suggest a 1930’s - 50’s standard. Please bring sheet music and your book and a picture and resume stapled together.
