Equity actors for roles in OKLAHOMA (See breakdown).
Performers of all ethnicities, physical types, gender identities and ages are encouraged to audition.
All roles will be understudied.
There are no Equity stage managerial positions available.

PREPARATION

Please prepare a short song in the style of the show. Singing from the show is fine. Also, please bring your headshot and resume stapled together.

SEEKING:

Curley McLain (20 – 32) Baritone C3-F#4 - Cowboy, leading man, charming but cocky. He is in love with Laurey but won’t admit it.

Laurey (20 – 32) Soprano C4-A5 - Spunky farm girl, romantic but headstrong. She is in love with Curly but won’t admit it. A strong singer and a strong dancer with good ballet technique.

Jud Fry (20 - 35) Baritone D3-C#4 - Aunt Eller’s farm hand, he doesn’t fit in with the people in town, he is seen by most as a surly outsider, but he’s misunderstood. He has feelings for Laurey.

Ado Annie (20 – 30) Mezzo-Sop C4-A5 - Flirtatious but naive and gullible, good-hearted, has good comic ability.

Will Parker (20 – 30) Tenor D#3-F4 - Cowboy, energetic, impulsive, not the brightest bulb, loves Ado Annie, Strong dancer.

Aunt Eller (40+) Mezzo-Sop G3-F5 - Laurey’s Aunt, wise, loving, mother figure and community leader.

Ali Hakim (25 – 35) Baritone F3-D5 - Comedic traveling salesman. Clever conman who says he’s from Persia. Though we aren’t sure how much of what he says we can believe. Pursues Ado Annie.

Andrew Carnes (35+) Baritone F3-F4 - Father to Ado Annie. Straight talking farmer.

Gertie Cummings (20s) Mezzo-Sop C4-A5 - Self-centered comedic character, she has eyes on Curly. She has a unique, comically annoying laugh.

Cord Elam (35+) Baritone - Cowboy and the law enforcement.

Ike Skidmore (35+) Baritone - Ranch owner where box social takes place.

Ensemble - Various women and men all ages and ethnicities to play an assortment of ensemble character roles.
