The following roles are cast but they are seeking Understudies for all roles:

Lesley Manville – JOCASTA (Female, 60s, white) Oedipus’ wife. Sophisticated, sensual, she’s a strong intellectual. Poised and protective of her family's privacy. Her love for Oedipus is genuine, but her past catches up with her in the most devastating way.
TBA – MEROPE (Female, 70s+, white) Oedipus’ (adoptive) mother. Held-together, compassionate, motherly, but sharp when necessary. A dignified presence despite being without the class and political knowledge her son possesses.
TBA – CREON (Male, early-mid 60s, white) Jocasta’s brother and Oedipus’ key political advisor. A defeated but loyal man, he’s the level-headed, practical “fixer” & counterbalance to Oedipus’ emotions. A strong man turned dog left out in the rain.
TBA – ANTIGONE (Female, early-mid 20s, white) Daughter of Oedipus & Jocasta. Thoughtful, introspective, observant, youthful but emotionally open. She searches for truth like her father.
TBA – ETEOCLES (Male, 18 - early 20s, white) Oedipus and Jocasta’s son. He is witty, athletic, self-assured but with a jokey immaturity.

TBA – CORIN (Male, 60s, Global Majority) Kind, loyal, long-time staffer with the family. A friend and confidant to Jocasta. Reliable and gentle.
TBA – TEIRESIAS (Any age, ethnicity, gender) A blind prophet who appears to deliver key revelations. Cryptic, intense, and emotionally powerful. They warn Oedipus of the tragic truth and catalyzes the unraveling of Oedipus’ identity. Actors who are Visually Impaired are encouraged to audition.
