Equity chorus dancers for New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players' 2026-27 Season. Performances: Friday, Oct. 23, 2026 - 7:30 pm, Saturday, Oct. 24, 2026 - 2 pm & 7:30 pm, Sunday, Oct. 25, 2026 - 3 pm. New York City area performers are encouraged to audition.

THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE

DANCERS: 18+, Qualified, classically trained or musical theatre ‘legit’ singers who move well of ALL GENDERS, ETHNICITIES AND CULTURAL BACKGROUNDS for ensemble positions in the 2026-2027 Season on the active roster of a 50-year-old, New York-based professional repertory company. Rehearsals begin: Nov. 2026. Performances: Saturday, Jan. 9, 2027 - 2 pm & 7:30 pm, Sunday, Jan. 10, 2027 - 3 pm, Saturday, Jan. 16, 2027 - 2 pm & 7:30 pm, Sunday, Jan. 17, 2027 - 3 pm.

THE GONDOLIERS

Rehearsals begin: Mar. 2027. Performances: Saturday, Apr. 19, 2027- 2 pm & 7:30 pm, Sunday, Apr. 20, 2027 - 3 pm.

PREPARATION

Please arrive warmed up and ready to dance in comfortable dance attire and character shoes. Please bring a hardcopy headshot and resume. You may be asked to stay and sing one verse of one song, Gilbert & Sullivan or Golden Age legit Broadway Musical selections. Please bring sheet music in the correct key. Accompanist provided.

Venue: The Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College
ECC Procedures are in effect for this audition. An Equity Monitor will be provided.
