MISERY

SYNOPSIS: Misery follows successful romance novelist Paul Sheldon, who is rescued from a car crash by his “number one fan,” Annie Wilkes, and wakes up captive in her secluded home. While Paul is convalescing, Annie reads his latest book and becomes enraged when she discovers the author has killed off her favorite character, Misery Chastain. Annie forces Paul to write a new Misery novel, and he quickly realizes Annie has no intention of letting him go anywhere. The irate Annie has Paul writing as if his life depends on it, and it does.

SYNOPSIS: From the songbook of Johnny Cash comes this unique jukebox musical about love and faith, struggle and success, rowdiness and redemption, and the healing power of home and family. More than two dozen classic hits- including “I Walk The Line”, “A Boy Named Sue”, “Folsom Prison Blues”, and the title tune — performed by a multi-talented cast, paint a musical portrait of The Man In Black, that promises to be a foot-stompin', crowd-pleasin' salute to a unique musical legend! Though he is never impersonated, Johnny Cash’s remarkable life story is told through his music, climaxing in a concert that will both move and exhilarate!

SYNOPSIS: Kween is a play about a Cambodian-American teenager who finds her voice through slam poetry. The play explores themes of identity, queerness, and family, following the aftermath of her father’s deportation. Set in Lowell, Massachusetts.

SOMA - [16 years old, she/her pronouns, Cambodian American] A dreamer, a poet, moody, but there’s plenty to be moody about, a tough exterior with plenty of softness in the right moments, an icon.

SOPHAT – [16 years old, he/him pronouns, Cambodian American] A star, the main vocalist, the most fun person to be around, Ariana Grande who?

BRITNEY – [16 years old, she/her pronouns, Black American] An understated star, ahead of her time, loves sci-fi, honest and uncomplicated about it.

DAHVY - [20s-30s, she/her pronouns, Cambodian American] A teacher, a big sister, a pragmatist, trying her best to keep it together.

RUBEN - [20s-30s, he/him pronouns, Mexican American] A teacher, a goof, the guy that makes you smile even when you don’t want to, has the ability to be present with everyone, has to be intentional and really speak up if he needs something.
