casting@mediatheatre.org with the subject line ‘AUDITION REQUEST - (Lastname)’ and indicate your preferred time slot between 9:30a-5:00p (last block of appointments starting at 4pm). Please include your equity status, and whether or not you are a local hire in your email.

SEEKING

Equity actors for roles in Media Theatre's 2025-26 Season (See breakdown). All roles will be understudied.

PREPARATION

Please prepare a short song. You may be asked for a contrasting 16-bar song. Also, please bring your headshot and resume stapled together.

DR. FREDERICK FRANKENSTEIN (Bb2-G4) (25-40)
Brilliant brain surgeon, professor and grandson of mad scientist Dr. Victor Von Frankenstein.

IGOR (Bb2-G4) (25-35)
Frederick’s faithful, bright-eyed, eager servant and friend with a hunchback.

INGA (G3-A5) (20 to 30)
Frederick’s young assistant. Attractive and a resident of Transylvania.

MONSTER (Db2 - Bb4)
The misunderstood creation of Dr. Frankenstein.

ELIZABETH BENNING (F#3 - F5) (25 to 35)
Frederick's boisterous fiancé.

FRAU BLUCHER (E3-C5) (40 to 60)
Stern housekeeper of the Frankenstein estate and former lover of Victor Frankenstein.

INSPECTOR KEMP/HERMIT (Ab2-F4) (40s to 60s)
The head of police in Transylvania. Driven by justice, with a wooden arm and leg. And a lonely, blind town hermit, hoping for a friend.
