SEEKING

Equity chorus singers for roles in MY FAIR LADY. Production will be utilizing a 10-person cast and significant doubling is anticipated. All listed roles may play/double other roles.

All roles are listed on the EPA notice (taking place on 12/8) and among the presumable chorus roles are the following. Performers interested in any role are welcome to attend either the EPA or ECCs or both.

  • HARRY AND OTHERS — 20s–40s, male, any race/ethnicity. Tenor. One of Alfred’s rapscallion buddies.
  • JAMIE AND OTHERS — 30s–50s, male, any race/ethnicity. Baritone. One of Alfred’s rapscallion buddies.
  • MRS. PEARCE AND OTHERS — 40+, female, mezzo-soprano, any race/ethnicity. Mrs. Pearce, loyal and warm mistress of the Higgins house who balances his gruff demeanor.
  • MRS. HIGGINS AND OTHERS — 50+, female, soprano/alto, as cast, any race/ethnicity. Henry Higgins’ wealthy, genteel, cunning mother.
  • MRS. HOPKINS AND OTHERS — 20s–40s, female, soprano/alto, any race/ethnicity.

PREPARATION

Please prepare a brief selection (approximately 16 bars) in the style of, or from, the show. An accompanist will be provided. Please bring a picture/resume.
