Roles available:
VERA LIBEN: 20-30. American dancer, courageous, willing to rish her and her husband's life for what they believe in. Also plays LOTTE JASTROW, age a well-kept secret, a German/Jewish/Yiddish actress with a heart of gold; expressive and full of life.
SARAH LIBEN: 18-25; must be under 5'5". American, curious, growing up in the 60s. Also plays RUTH PRAGER, 10-12, rebellious German-Jewish sister to Nele.
JOAN: 18-25; must be under 5'5". American, curious, supportive, growing up in the 60s. Best friend of Sarah and a good friend. Also plays NELE PRAGER, 10-14, German-Jewish, smart and worried.
THEA LINDERMAN: early 20s, German-Jewish actress.
ANNA PRAGER: 30-early 40s, German-Jewish photographer, very stubborn, courageous, an artist to her core.
ARI STEINBACH: 20-35, German-Jewish, young idealist Communist actor, a brave revolutionary. Also plays Nazi Officer and American Commanding Officer.
GERT PRAGER: 20-30, young German Jew trapped in France. Also plays Nazi Officer and American Officer.
YASHA BARTOW: 40-60, German-Jewish actor, very passionate and loyal. Also plays Nazi Officer.
DAVID LIBEN: 30-40, father of Sarah, husband to Vera. American Stage Manager, Communist Party member, brave and at other times a coward, politically energetic, smart, and most of the time action oriented. Believes he can be part of changing the world.
HANS CASSELL: 20-35, young German-Jewish actor. Naive. Also plays BOBBY, 20s, American dancer on tour of Europe for the first time and having a great time; carefree.

Preparation
Audition will be cold readings from the script. Scripts will be available for perusal beginning at 10 AM on day of audition. This is a play with live music, but not a musical; you may be asked to sing 16 bars a cappella. Bring headshot and resume.
