Prepare 16 bars of an up-tempo pop or rock song, preferably from the 60’s/70’s, or a selection from “Hair”. These are suggestions and not requirements. Above all else, it is NOT recommended to learn something specifically for this audition. Bring sheet music in correct key; accompanist provided buy may not transpose.

Seeking possible replacements for the touring company of HAIR: THE AMERICAN TRIBAL LOVE-ROCK MUSICAL

THIS SHOW WAS CREATED FOR, AND WE ARE SEEKING, A MULTICULTURAL COMPANY. Please note that some nudity will be a part of these performances. However, nudity is voluntary and not a requirement for all cast members. There is no nudity involved in auditions.

The TRIBE should be composed of unique, high energy young actors with great rock/pop voices who march to their own drummer. They should represent as many different physical types as possible and sing like mad. This may be stating the obvious but we are particularly interested in actors with long and/or wild hair!

Singers. 20s. An American, hippie Greek Chorus. Must have GREAT flexible singing voices.
