[SCROOGE] 50s+, male, any race/ethnicity. A miserly banker. Selfish and cold-hearted at the start, but the ice around his heart cracks as the night progresses.

[NARRATOR/MARLEY] 50s+, male, any race/ethnicity. The Narrator is a compelling storyteller and omniscient presence. Marley is Scrooge’s late business partner who has been tasked with Scrooge’s redemption in order to fulfil his own.

[BOB CRATCHIT] 30s–40s, male, any race/ethnicity. Scrooge’s ill-treated employee. Around Scrooge, he is shy and nervous, but elsewhere he is effusive, warm, and caring. Nothing is more important to him than his family.

PLEASE NOTE: This production will be produced as a co-production with Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, and Gulfshore Playhouse. Stephanie Klapper Casting will handle casting for all three legs.

SYNOPSIS

A cinematic, twisty heist-whodunnit. Heist follows a criminal mastermind and his motley crew of professional thieves who re-join forces to steal the world’s rarest jewels from an international jewel thief. The plan seems foolproof — until it goes spectacularly wrong. Tensions rise, betrayals mount, and the show becomes a rollercoaster of adrenaline that will leave you gasping and guessing up until the very final moments!
