Equity Chorus Singers for GIULIA: THE POISON QUEEN OF PALERMO.
The producers and creative team of Giulia are seeking actors of all races, cultural backgrounds, abilities, and gender identities to audition for all roles.

SEEKING:

MARIA – Female Presenting. Mid 20’s – Mid 30’s. Expecting a child and filled with fear. Mezzo.

RENATA – Female Presenting. Early 20’s. An innocent young bride. Soprano.

CARLO – Male Presenting. Giulia’s husband, filled with rage. Bari-tenor.

PIETRO – Male Presenting. Maria’s husband, frightening and manipulative. Bari-tenor.

FEMALE PRESENTING ROLE 1 - Seeking excellent dancers with strong pop/rock voices to play various members of Giulia’s community.

FEMALE PRESENTING ROLE 2 - Seeking performers with excellent modern pop voices and strong movement ability to play various members of Giulia’s community.

PREPARATION

Please prepare a 32-bar cut of a pop/rock song of your choosing. Please bring sheet music for the accompanist, your book, and a photo/resume stapled together.
