Officer Marcus Moscowicz: An ambitious young police officer who wants to be a detective. The main character trying to solve a murder. Doubles as The Chief: Marcus's boss. - TRACK 2: The Suspects
A variety of characters, often changing between them with minimal costume or prop changes. Dahlia Whitney: The victim's loopy widow. Murray and Barb Flandon: A bickering elderly couple who were neighbors. Steph Whitney: An eager graduate student. Barrette Lewis: A self-incriminating prima ballerina. Dr. Griff: A friendly local psychiatrist. Timmy, Yonkers, and Skid: Members of an old-fashioned boys' choir. Henry Vivaldi: A late-arriving character. - Jerry Lee Lewis — Rock ‘n’ Roll's legendary piano prodigy. Requires exceptional piano skills and stamina. (Male presenting, early to mid 20s).
- Carl Perkins — Lead guitar player, thoughtful and sincere. Strong rockabilly guitarist and vocalist. (Male presenting, mid 20s).
- Johnny Cash — Guitar player, charismatic and introspective. Must capture Cash’s vocal style while remaining grounded. (Male presenting, 20–30).
- Sam Phillips — Founder of Sun Records; towering and charismatic. (Male presenting, 30–35). Singing required but limited.
