Please come prepared to dance. Bring jazz shoes or dance sneakers, your picture/resume stapled together, and a book of music in case you are asked to stay and sing. An accompanist will be provided.

LYLE: Chuck’s buddy – a few lines, sings strong 3-part harmony, some dancing. Age 18–25.
TRAVIS: Chuck’s buddy – a few lines, sings strong 3-part harmony, some dancing. Age 18–25.
JETER: Ren and Willard’s friend, some lines, sings 3-part harmony, some dancing. Age 18–25.
BICKLE: Chuck’s buddy – a few lines, sings strong 3-part harmony, some dancing. Age 18–25.
GARVOM: Ren and Willard’s friend, some lines, sings 3-part harmony, some dancing. Age 18–25.
ENSEMBLE: Males & females, 18–70. Townspeople, students; need strong character people (all age ranges) for many roles (listed below); teenage through adults; chorus singing, dancing parts; all teens dance, all adults dance at the prom.

SISTER MARY THERESA: A nun of the convent, the oldest of the group. Decrepit at a glance but secretly packs a punch. Gender: female. Age: 60 to 70+
MICHELLE: One of Deloris’ back-up singers. Lippy and always quick with a retort. Gender: female. Age: 20 to 30
TINA: One of Deloris’ back-up singers. A little thick and naive. Gender: female. Age: 20 to 30
ERNIE: One of Curtis’ thugs. Initially thought to be a mindless yes-man, he turns out to be an undercover informant. Gender: male. Age: 25 to 35+
