Fashionistas is a premiere production being produced at Urban Stages Theatre, 259 West 30th Street. Rehearsals are in NYC.

Fashionistas is a short comedy/drama- a high-fashion adaptation of the classic story of Echo and Narcissus. All actors should be able to walk the runway creatively and be skilled in movement or dance.
We encourage performers of all races and ethnicities.
Seeking:
Equity/non-Equity male and female actors with a sense of humor who move well. Performers of all races and ethnicities encouraged to audition.
Narcissus:
(early 20s): A boy with the depth of Hamlet trapped in the body of a Calvin Klein underwear model. Prefer an actor who plays electric guitar.
Echo:
A teenage girl. A misfit. An outcast. Cursed to repeat only what others say. Desperately in love with Narcissus.
Calliope:
(20s) A vegetarian P.E.T.A supporter. Like Echo, she is an outsider.
Reflection:
The reflection of Narcissus. Male or Female. Any age.
THE FASHIONIASTAS (high society inhabitants of the fashion world):
Donatella: (40-50): Narcissus' Mother. The Empress of fashion. Elegant. Over the top.
Valentino: (40-50): Narcissus' Father. A Fashion designer. The Emperor of fashion.
Rafael: Donatella's personal assistant. Flamboyant. In love with Narcissus. Any age.
Natalie: (18-30) A supermodel. In love with Narcissus
