Please prepare one monologue or two brief contrasting monologues to total approximately 2 minutes. There are no musicals in the season; no singing please. SYNOPSIS
An ode to generations of immigrants who have made Canada the country that it is. With new luxury buildings going up around the convenience store and a Walmart preparing to move in, pressure is on to sell the Kim’s family-run Korean variety store. Mr. Kim’s immigrant path towards building a life for his family in Canada is put under strain when a realtor makes a generous offer for the land. Questions of legacy and culture clash with economic concerns in this laugh-worthy, touching play about family and the relationship between one generation and the next.

Janet (Female presenting – Asian – 30): 2nd generation Korean-Canadian woman. Daughter of Appa and Umma, she is artistic and rebellious while staying committed to family.
Jung (Female presenting – Asian – 30s): 2nd generation Korean-Canadian man. Son of Appa and Umma, he is the troubled but independent son, looking to rekindle relationships. Speaks Korean.
Rich / Mr. Lee / Mike / Alex (Male presenting – Black – 30s): One actor to play all of these characters. Rich – a young man; Mr. Lee – a successful real estate agent and friend of Appa; Mike – a man with a thick Jamaican accent; Alex – a police officer and childhood friend of Jung and Janet.

SYNOPSIS
A fresh take on what it means to confront one’s past and redefine personal happiness. When a late-night call arrives from an ex, Ava’s world is thrust into emotional turmoil. As Ava attempts to regain control and confront the ghosts of her past, she meets Eleanor, a middle-aged doctor facing a midlife crisis and living a life of unfulfilled dreams. Ava and Eleanor’s lives become inexorably intertwined as they grapple with blame, forgiveness, and what types of happiness they allow themselves to feel.

SYNOPSIS
In 1960s England, a wind of change is blowing through the land. It has even reached the sleepy village of St Mary Mead. There’s a new housing estate to make the villagers curious and fearful, and now the village has been thrown into a frenzy by the news that a glamorous American film star has bought the Manor House. Miss Jane Marple, confined to a chair after an accident, is wondering if life has passed her by. Then there is a vicious murder, and Miss Marple must unravel a web of lies, tragedy, and danger. This adaptation of Agatha Christie’s famous novel brings real emotional depth and psychological insight to a thrilling story of revenge and dark secrets.

Marina Gregg (Female presenting – 45-55): A famous American movie star, glamorous yet troubled. She is dealing with personal and emotional struggles.
Heather Leigh (Female presenting – 40s): An enthusiastic fan of Marina Gregg, she is full of energy and somewhat oblivious to the impact of her words.
Ella Zelinsky (Female presenting – 30-50): The efficient personal assistant, sharp and ambitious.

SYNOPSIS
Summoned to a convent, Dr. Martha Livingstone, a court-appointed psychiatrist, is charged with assessing the sanity of a novice accused of murdering her newborn. Miriam Ruth, the Mother Superior, determinedly keeps young Agnes from the doctor, further arousing Livingstone’s suspicions. Who killed the infant, and who fathered the tiny victim? Livingstone’s questions force all three women to re-examine the meaning of faith and the power of love, leading to a dramatic, compelling climax.

Mother Miriam Ruth (Female presenting – 60s): The Reverend Mother of the convent, she is very protective of Agnes. Before becoming a nun, Miriam was unhappily married with two daughters.
Dr. Martha Livingstone (Female presenting – 40s): An intelligent and determined psychiatrist, she is appointed by a court to evaluate the mental sanity of a novice nun accused of killing her newborn baby. She must determine if the act was intentional murder or a result of insanity.
Agnes (Female presenting – 20s): A novice nun in her twenties, Agnes claims to have no knowledge of the baby, and then later claims it was a virgin birth, and the baby comes from God. She has an outward innocence and simplicity, but below the surface, she is plagued by childhood abuse.

Rupert Cadell (Male presenting – 40s-50s): A Byronic ruin. Brilliant, dry, wry, caustic, and very entertaining. He lost most of one leg in The Great War. Now he walks with a limp. He uses a cane.
Brandon (Male presenting – 20s-30s): Fine-featured, smart, cultured, expensively dressed. Cool, self-satisfied, amused, confident.
Lewis (Male presenting – 20s-30s): Brandon’s junior partner. Also expensively dressed. Good looking, polite. He is the less confident specimen.
