MALE ENSEMBLE

Details: (Male, Non-Binary, Trans Male, 20s-30s) Top dancers with top singing ability. Strong urban contemporary technique with knowledge of Argentine Tango, hip hop/pop and lock and break-dancing a plus. All lived experiences and backgrounds considered to play everything from Generals to working class activists. Principal covers will come from within the ensemble. Seeking all ethnicities and encourage performers from the Latin community to audition.

FEMALE ENSEMBLE

Details: (Female, Non-Binary, Trans Male, 20s-30s) Top dancers with top singing ability. Strong urban contemporary technique with knowledge of Argentine Tango, hip hop/pop and lock and break-dancing a plus. All lived experiences and backgrounds considered to play everything from Generals to working class activists. Principal covers will come from within the ensemble. Seeking all ethnicities and encourage performers from the Latin community to audition.

PREPARATION

Please wear sneakers and clothing you are comfortable moving in. No hats, jazz shoes, ballet shoes, heels or jewelry that will get in the way of partner work. Please bring knee pads if you think you need them. There is no knee work in the routine, but you may be asked if you can do a knee slide. Also, bring your picture and resume stapled together.
