Note: At these auditions, we are seeking adult actors (age 18 and over) only.
Please prepare two contrasting one-minute monologues or one two-minute monologue. All actors please bring a copy of your headshot and resume.
An Equity Monitor will not be provided. The producer will run all aspects of this audition.

MARGOT WENDICE — 30s–40s, English. The charming, naïve, and wealthy wife of Tony. Margot has no idea that Tony knows of her past affair with Max, nor does she suspect that Tony is planning to murder her.
MAXINE HADLEY — 30s–40s, American. An American murder mystery writer; Maxine had an affair with Margot during the time Tony was playing professional tennis tournaments in America. He is still in love with Margot and comes to visit the couple in London.
TONY WENDICE — 30s–40s, English. Margot’s husband, Tony is a former professional tennis player who married Margot for her money. He is selfish and arrogant and has an elaborate scheme to murder Margot because of jealousy over a past affair between Margot and Max.
LESGATE — 30s–40s, English. An old schoolmate of Tony’s and a convicted criminal, Lesgate is now being blackmailed by Tony into murdering Margot. He seems willing to do anything for money.
INSPECTOR HUBBARD — 40s–50s, English. A Scotland Yard detective, Inspector Hubbard is thorough and observant, and he soon becomes suspicious of Tony's actions. Hubbard is a bit eccentric, but thoughtful and thorough.

RICHARD DREYFUSS — 20s–30s, a young American actor. In Jaws, he portrayed Matt Hooper, a marine biologist hired by Martin Brody.
ROY SCHNEIDER — 30s–40s, an American actor. In Jaws, he portrayed police chief Martin Brody.
ROBERT SHAW — 40s, an English actor and writer. In Jaws, he portrayed Quint, a shark hunter and captain of the Orca.
