PREPARATION
All actors should prepare their choice of the following, with a max total time of 3 minutes:
- 2 contrasting contemporary monologues
- 1 contemporary monologue and a short selection from
Annie (link to cuts and tracks in sign-up form) - 2 contrasting songs (Annie cut or actor's choice of tracks)

HEIST

A fast-paced thriller in the style of Oceans Eleven and other great heist films.
SEEKING:
- MARVIN - 30-40, Male identified, any race/ethnicity. The Boss. The brains behind the operation, speaks with an Irish accent.
- RYAN - 30-40, Male identified, any race/ethnicity. The Gilligan. Marvin’s right-hand man. A con-man from a privileged background.
- ANGIE - 25-35, Female identified, any race/ethnicity. The Mary-Lou. A physically adept actor, aerial skills and/or rock climbing experience a plus.
- KRUGER - 40-50, Male identified, any race/ethnicity. The Popeye. Strong and daring, not afraid to throw his weight around.
- FIONA - 18-25, Female identified, any race/ethnicity. The Geek. A technical genius.
- THE SPIDER - 55-65, any gender, any race/ethnicity. The Target. A dangerous and notorious thief, speaks with a German accent.

A classic family-friendly musical for the holidays.
SEEKING:
- ANNIE - 10-12, Female identified, Mezzo-Soprano Belter, any race/ethnicity. Independent, hopeful, and full of life. Tough on the outside, but deeply misses her parents. Strong singer/dancer.
- OLIVER WARBUCKS - 40-50, Male identified, Baritenor, any race/ethnicity. A highly successful businessman who is confident, intimidating, and a bit stiff. Like Annie, he is tough on the outside, but ultimately has a heart of gold.
- MISS HANNIGAN - 40-60, Female identified, Alto Belter, any race/ethnicity. The cynical and cruel matron of the orphanage. Dreams of a better life but doesn’t know how to get there honestly. Excellent comedic timing and a strong physical presence.
- GRACE FARRELL - 25-35, Female identified, Soprano, any race/ethnicity. Warbucks’s secretary. She is excellent at her job and knows how to handle him, but has a warm and lovely personality. A cheerleader for Annie at every step of her journey. Strong singer/dancer.
- ROOSTER HANNIGAN - 25-40, Male identified, Tenor, any race/ethnicity. Hannigan’s younger brother. He is a flashy, self-assured con-man looking to score big. Strong singer/dancer with comedic chops.
- LILY ST. REGIS - 25-35, Female identified, Mezzo-Soprano, any race/ethnicity. Rooster’s airheaded girlfriend with ambitions of her own. Strong singer/dancer with comedic chops.
- ADULT ENSEMBLE - Ages 18+, all types and voices. Actors/Singers/Dancers to play a variety of supporting roles - New Yorkers, radio personalities, members of Warbucks’s household staff, FDR and his cabinet, etc.

A powerful, contemporary adaptation of Ibsen’s political masterpiece.
SEEKING:
- DR. THOMAS STOCKMANN - 40s, Male identified, any race/ethnicity. Medical Director of the Baths. An optimist. Warm, with a sense of humor and a love of company. Has a strong moral center.
- PETRA STOCKMANN - Early 20s, Female identified, any race/ethnicity. Thomas's daughter, a schoolteacher. Bright, quick and self-confident. An independent woman with a rebellious streak.
- PETER STOCKMANN - 40-55, Male identified, any race/ethnicity. Thomas's brother, the town Mayor. Serious and self-important, he clings to his power and wields it whenever he can.
- HOVSTAD - 30s, Male identified, any race/ethnicity. Editor of the People's Messenger. From a blue-collar family, he enjoys pushing back against authority and the ruling class. Infatuated with Petra.
- BILLING - 20s, Male identified, any race/ethnicity. A journalist who works for Hovstad. Extroverted and mischievous. Infatuated with Petra.
- ASLAKSEN - 50-70, Male identified, any race/ethnicity. Printer for the People’s Messenger, but also Chair of the Property Owners' Association. His conflicting interests make him a cautious man.
- CAPTAIN HORSTER - 20s, Male identified, any race/ethnicity. A ship's captain who doesn’t involve himself with matters of politics when at home. A man of few words. Infatuated with Petra, but very shy.
- MORTEN KIIL - 60-75, Male identified, any race/ethnicity. Thomas's father-in-law, owner of a tannery. Sneaky and suspicious of others, ruthless. A skeptic who doesn’t believe in anything he can’t see.
THE COTTAGE

A romantic and (not quite) murderous comedy of manners, in the style of Noel Coward with a feminist twist.
NOTE:
All roles require actors to perform with a standard British accent or a similar dialect. Actors wishing to be considered for this piece are encouraged to demonstrate their dialect skills at the EPA.
SEEKING:
- SYLVIAN - 30-40, female identified, any race/ethnicity. A lovely, rash romantic. Seems like a typical ingenue, but there’s more to her than meets the eye. Beau’s lover, married to Clarke.
- BEAU - 30-40, male identified, any race/ethnicity. Perhaps the best-looking man in Britain. Romantic but resistant to commitment. Sylvia’s lover, married to Marjorie. Clarke’s brother.
- MARJORIE - 30-40, female identified, any race/ethnicity. Eight months pregnant and a tad spicy. Married to Beau.
- CLARKE - 30-40, male identified, any race/ethnicity. A distinguished gentleman with a lover’s spirit. Not as uptight as he comes across. Married to Sylvia. Beau’s brother.
- DIEDRE - 25-35, female identified, any race/ethnicity. A sweet, young optimist. Kind of a mess, but very pretty. Seeking to escape her husband Richard. Comes from a humble background and slips into a lower-class dialect when intoxicated.
- RICHARD - 30-40, male identified, any race/ethnicity. A murderous, yet gentle soul. A chameleon and a storyteller. Married to Diedre.
