Bay Street Theater welcomes performers of all ethnicities, gender identities, abilities/exceptionalities, and body types. Actors of diverse cultural and racial backgrounds are encouraged to apply. In addition to genders listed in character breakdowns, we are actively seeking transgender and non-binary performers for all roles.

EPA Procedures are in effect for this audition. An Equity Monitor will be provided. Local actors are encouraged to attend. Equity’s contracts prohibit discrimination.

Please prepare one contemporary monologue, no longer than 2 minutes. Also prepare a brief cut of a song no longer than one minute in the legit, contemporary musical theater or classical style for those who wish to demonstrate singing skill — no pop or rock songs please. Please bring your headshot and resume stapled together. Always bring your Equity Membership card to auditions.
