For a 5-minute appointment, e-mail Each actor has a minimum of TWO minutes to perform. Please prepare a short comedic monologue, contemporary or classical. In addition, please prepare 32 bars of a song in the style of the show. Songs from the show are acceptable. Bring sheet music in the correct key; accompanist is provided, but may not transpose.
Please bring a picture & resume, stapled back-to-back.

Princeton / Rod:
Princeton: Male, 20s. Fresh-faced kid just out of college. Rod: Male, late 20s - late 30s. Republican investment banker with a secret. Baritenor.
Kate Monster / Lucy:
Kate: Female, 20s - early 30s. Kindergarten teaching assistant, a bit older than Princeton. Soprano. Lucy: Female, 20s-30s. Vixenish vamp with a dangerous edge. Alto.
Nicky / Trekkie Monster / Boy Bear:
Nicky: Male, mid 20s - late 30s. A bit of a slacker. Lives with Rod. Trekkie Monster: Male, 20s-30s. Reclusive creature, obsessed with the Internet. Tenor. Boy Bad Idea Bear: 20s-40s. Baritone. Snuggly, cute teddy-bear type. Baritenor.
Mrs. T / Girl Bear:
Mrs. T: 40s-80s (“ancient”). Kate’s boss. Soprano. Girl Bad Idea Bear: 20s-40s. Snuggly, cute teddy-bear type. Mezzo.
Brian:
Man, 30s. Laid-back guy, married to Christmas Eve. Baritone.
Christmas Eve:
Asian woman, 30s. Therapist who moved here from Japan. Mezzo.
Gary Coleman:
Man, 30s-40s (played by a woman). Yes, that Gary Coleman. He lives on the Avenue, too. He’s the superintendent. Alto.
