For this immersive theatre production, our Creative Team is in search of unique artists with a willingness to dive into the world of immersive storytelling.

They are not meant to be exhaustive of who should play these roles and we seek to cast as expansively and authentically as possible. SEEKING:

TARTUFFE [CAST]: A cunning con man posing as a pious guest. Calm and calculating, his only weakness is his desire for Elmire, which reveals his true nature.

ORGON [CAST]: Head of the household in the midst of a mid-life crisis. He clings to Tartuffe’s strict religious ideals, blindly siding with him over his own family.

DORINE [CAST]: Mariane’s bold, sharp-tongued maid. She’s determined to expose Tartuffe and stop Mariane’s forced marriage to him.

ELMIRE: Orgon’s devoted, level-headed wife. She sees through Tartuffe and cleverly pretends to be interested in him to reveal his deceit.

MARIANE [CAST]: Orgon’s sweet, romantic daughter. She’s in love with Valere but devastated when her father tries to marry her off to Tartuffe.

DAMIS: Orgon’s hotheaded, impulsive son. Suspicious of Tartuffe, he confronts him — only to be banished by his father.

VALERE [CAST]: Mariane’s passionate fiancé. His love for her causes both heartbreak and quarrels when her engagement is threatened.

CELANTE [CAST]: Elmire’s brother and the voice of reason. Calm and wise, he counsels Orgon and represents the play’s moral center.

MADAME PERNELLE [CAST]: Orgon’s strict, judgmental mother. She’s blind to Tartuffe’s deceit and supports his extreme views on morality.
