Casting Director’s Note: These are the only roles we are seeking this year. All actors must have excellent British dialect, style and period skills. All roles are open to actors from all racial and ethnic groups. December 24th and 25th are days off.
Seeking:
Young Scrooge:
Mid to late 20s; 5'l0' to 6' tall; handsome, charismatic; goes from being an idealistic, fun-loving clerk to a narrow-minded, driven, very serious young man of business
Belle:
Mid 20s; a true young leading lady; Scrooge's great love; beautiful, smart, charming, articulate, witty, compassionate and sincere.
Fred:
Mid 20s-early 30s; Scrooge's nephew; a fun-loving, attractive, witty, spirited, charming, decent fellow, who's filled with the spirit of Christmas. Actor MUST have good British dialect and period style skills.
Additional Role Sought (as of 10/4/11):
Mr Sosser:
A cheerful, British gentlemen, who is one of the narrator's of the play. Good story-telling skills; lots of charm. Plays other roles.
