William Shatner Highlights Programming at Wizard World Comic Con Des Moines

Q&A sessions with William Shatner (Star Trek), Brandon Routh ("The Flash," Superman Returns), Robert Englund (A Nightmare on Elm Street), Cassandra Peterson (Elvira: Mistress of the Dark), Jewel Staite ("Firefly," "Stargate: Atlantis"), WWE Superstar Seth Rollins, Dean Cain ("Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman," "Smallville"), Manu Bennett (The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, "Arrow"), Billy Dee Williams (Star Wars: The EMPIRE Strikes Back), J. August Richards ("Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D), Jason Mewes ("Jay and Silent Bob), costume contests, comics-themed sessions and more are among the programming panels scheduled at Wizard World Comic Con Des Moines, June 12-14 at Iowa Events Center. Most programming is included as part of the standard event admission.

Interactive Q&As with Shatner (Saturday, 5 p.m.), Routh (Saturday, noon), Englund (Saturday, 1 p.m.), Peterson (Sunday, 1:30 p.m.), Staite (Saturday, 2 p.m.), Cain (Sunday, 12:30 p.m.), Bennett (Saturday, 4:30 p.m), Williams (Saturday, 4 p.m.), Richards (Saturday, 1:30 p.m.), Mewes (Saturday, 3:30 p.m.) and others

Dual Q&A sessions with The Boondock Saints tandem Sean Patrick Flanery and David Della Rocca (Sunday, 2:30 p.m.)

Comics-themed sessions with WWE artist Rob Schamberger (Friday, 7 p.m.), learn the art of Saturday morning cartoon production with Tom Cook (Saturday, 1:30 p.m.), storytelling with Michael Golden (Saturday, 12:30 p.m.), break into comics with "Green Arrow's" Mike Grell, "the Wretch's" Phil Hester, "Betty & Veronica's" Barbara Slate, "Spider-Man's" Jai Nitz, and "She-Hulk's" Renee Witterstaetter (Saturday, 3 p.m.)

CONtv Presents: Green Ranger Half HOUR OF POWER with Jason David Frank ("Mighty Morphin Power Rangers"), a karate class for all ages (Saturday, 2:30 p.m.)

Join James O'Barr as he revisits the circumstances that led to the creation of "The Crow" (Saturday, 5:30 p.m.)

Step into the ring with WWE SUPERSTARS Seth Rollins (Friday, 8 p.m.) and Diva Paige (Saturday, 2:30 p.m.)

Costume contests for adults (Saturday, 7 p.m.) and kids (Sunday, 3 p.m.), plus cosplay-themed sessions with Wizard World personality Damian Beurer and others

Meet-and-greet with Jason David Frank (Saturday, 5 p.m.) (Paid event)
