At the dawn of a new century, everything is changing... and anything is possible. Together they confront history's timeless contradictions of wealth and poverty, freedom and prejudice, hope and despair, and what it means to live in America.

by Amanda Etchison - February 20, 2017
"Sex with Strangers" attempts to address the intriguing issue of perception versus reality against a backdrop of Internet anonymity and viral celebrity. The concept is interesting, fresh and thoughtful, but the overly loquacious script extinguishes the play's fiery and passionate potential.

BWW Review: You'll Wanna Feel the Heat of THE BODYGUARD at the Ohio Theatre
by Christina Mancuso - February 15, 2017
Love was in the air when a packed house celebrated Valentine's Day on opening night of THE BODYGUARD at the Ohio Theatre. Starting out with a bang (literally), Deborah Cox dominated the stage with her powerhouse voice and stunning presence as 'Rachel Marron', originally played by the late Whitney Houston in the feature film of the same name. But instead of embodying the fictional character Rachel Marron, this superstar channeled every nuance of legendary Whitney Houston in what felt more like a tribute concert to the late, great diva. In fact, it felt more like an actual concert by Whitney herself -- So much so, that during one of her climactic moments, someone in the audience even shouted, 'Whitney's in the house!'

STRAIGHTEN UP AND FLY RIGHT: THE NAT KING COLE TRIBUTE to Play the McCoy
by BWW News Desk - February 13, 2017
Nat King Cole broke the pop barrier in 1943 when his "Straighten Up and Fly Right" soared up the charts. His smooth, smoky vocals continued to rack up pop hit after hit, but his piano technique, vocal phrasings, and on-the-mark orchestration always hinted to his early roots in jazz.
