Columbus Children's T heatre presents JUNIE B. JONES The Musical

Columbus Children's Theatre will present the regional premiere of Junie B. Jones The Musical Sep 21 - Oct 15 at the Park Street Theatre located at 512 Park Street. This production is directed by William Goldsmith.

The trials and tribulations of first grade are faced head on by the sassy and lovable Junie B. Jones. From best pal drama to her first pair of glasses, Junie B.'s school year is one for the books. Sneak a peek into her "Top-Secret Personal Beeswax Journal" and see how she overcomes adversity in a way only she knows how. Based on four of Barbara Park's best-selling books, this charming musical will capture your heart just as the book series has captivated readers for over twenty-five years!

Created by Marcy Heisler and Zina Goldrich comes Junie B. Jones, The Musical - a delightful adaptation of four of Barbara Park's best-selling books, brought to life in a genuinely comical musical developed by TheatreworksUSA.

It's Junie B.'s first day of first grade, and a lot of things have changed for her: Junie's friend, Lucille, doesn't want to be her best pal anymore and, on the bus, Junie B. makes friends with Herb, the new kid at school. Also, Junie has trouble reading the blackboard and her teacher, Mr. Scary, thinks she may need glasses. Throw in a friendly cafeteria lady, a kickball tournament, and a "Top-Secret Personal Beeswax Journal," and first grade has never been more exciting.
