CAPA To Present HARRY POTTER AND THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX IN CONCERT in April
Performances are on Friday, April 1, at 8 pm, and Saturday, April 2, at 2 pm and 8 pm.
The Harry Potter Film Concert Series returns to Columbus with Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix in Concert, the fifth film in the Harry Potter series. On Friday, April 1, at 8 pm, and Saturday, April 2, at 2 pm and 8 pm, the Columbus Symphony will perform the magical score from Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix live while the entire film plays in high-definition on a 40-foot screen.
CAPA presents Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix in Concert at the Palace Theatre (34 W. Broad St.) on Friday, April 1, at 8 pm, and Saturday, April 2, at 2 pm and 8 pm. Tickets are $50.50-$125.50 and can be purchased in person at the CAPA Ticket Center (39 E. State St.), online at www.capa.com, or by phone at (614) 469-0939.
In 2016, CineConcerts and Warner Bros. Consumer Products announced the Harry Potter Film Concert Series, a global concert tour celebrating the Harry Potter films. Since the world premiere of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix in Concert in 2016, more than 2.7 million fans have enjoyed this magical experience from The Wizarding World, which is scheduled to include more than 1,295 performances across more than 48 countries worldwide through 2021.

Nominated for a World Soundtrack Discovery Award, composer Nicholas Hooper uses experimental techniques and unique instruments to compose two new main themes reflecting not only Dolores Umbridge but Voldemort's inflection into Harry's psyche. By using Japanese Taiko drums, Hooper allows a deeper and more nefarious undercurrent to permeate the magical adventure of Harry and his friends as they prepare for the wizarding war ahead.
