The Encore Musical Theatre Summer Camp

The Encore Musical Theatre Company in Dexter, Michigan runs weekly summer day camps led by David Moan and a team of theatre professionals. Campers explore musical theatre through singing, dancing, acting, and improvisation while building teamwork and communication skills. Sessions are grouped by entering grade: ACT ONE for grades 3-5 reinforces musical theatre basics through group and small-group numbers; ACT TWO for grades 6-8 builds on prior experience with short solos; MAKE A MUSICAL for grades 4-8 has campers write, block, and choreograph an original 30-40 minute one-act performed at a Friday showcase; and FINALE, a capstone for grades 9-12, culminates in a full performance of group numbers and individual solos.

All sessions run Monday-Friday, 10 AM to 3 PM. Sessions are grouped by entering grade level. Refund policy: 100% more than 4 weeks before camp, 50% at 3-4 weeks, none under 3 weeks notice.
