INTRODUCTION TO MUSICAL THEATRE - CAMP INFORMATION

MIDDLE SCHOOL (entering grades 6-8)

July 6 - 10, 1:30 - 5 pm (3 ½ hours)

Learn what it means to be a triple threat in the theatre as you act, dance, and sing all week. Don’t miss your shot to take this camp! The camp will have a final demonstration of a medley of Broadway favorites on the Schiller Park stage the evening of July 10th prior to the Peter and the Starcatcher performance

Premiere Summer Musical Theatre Program Welcomes Younger Students

The Regional Emmy-Award Winning musical theatre training organization, Young Artists of America (YAA), is now welcoming 4th and 5th grade students into their Summer Performing Arts Intensives. Previously, the program, known to many as the premiere training ground for dedicated musical theatre students in the Mid-Atlantic, was only open to students in middle school and high school. Starting in June of 2020, elementary school students (ages 9+) will be welcomed into the new daytime program, Kids Academy, an introduction to musical theatre led by the region's top teaching artists.

BPA Theatre School Is Now Enrolling Spring Classes

BPA Theatre School is now registering for an enticing array of spring classes for pupils of all ages. Students, ages 4 - 7 will blossom in a super-positive growth experience for our littlest islanders: Creative Drama instructs students on using their faces, bodies, and voices to tell a story. Students, ages 6 - 8, will learn two song-and-dance numbers and engage in imaginative skill-building theatre games in Introduction to Musical Theatre.
