BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano. This Thursday, May 31st, Broadway Sessions will welcome the cast of the Off-Broadway musical What We Do For Love or Other Desperate Meaasures and more.

What We Do For Love stars Gilbert L. Bailey II (Scottsboro Boys), Natalie Hill (Wonderland, Bye Bye Birdie, Grease), Simon Pearl (Les Miserables), Morgan Weed (current Rent), Ryan Williams (Evil Dead:The Musical) and Carla R. Stewart. The show is written by Dorothy Marcic and features direction, choreography and musical arragngements by 3 time Tony Award winner Hinton Battle. The cast will perform from the show as well as individual numbers. Audience members willl have the opportunity to win tickets to the show.

Broadway Sessions will also feature performances by singing actress Maggie McNeil.

Open Mic party follows the show til 2 am.

Broadway Sessions takes place every Thursday evening at The Laurie Beechman Theater inside The West Bank Café located at 407 west 42nd street (corner of 42nd street and 9th avenue). 212-695-6909.
