The Village Gate's premieres Old Fashioned Piano Party, featuring Special Guests: Joe Iconis and the cast of "Things to Ruin". Hosted by Kevin Michael Murphy, with Caleb Hoyer on the keys. Starting October 3rd, new weekly open mic night! Sundays at 9:30pm at The Gallery@ (le) Poisson Rouge.

 This brand new weekly open mic night premieres October 3rd and is highly recommended for show-tune lovers, Broadway enthusiasts, "Gleeks", fans of Charles Nelson Reilly, and anyone who ever wanted to do their own dream ballet. Come join us and pay homage to the old Village Gate, a nightclub/theater that opened in the late 50's and premiered a number of Off-Broadway shows, including Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris, in 1968.

Hosted by ultimate theater nerd Kevin Michael Murphy(If It Only Even Runs a Minute, Craig Stevens Guide to Making it on Broadway), with Caleb Hoyer on the keys, this weekly shindig features performances by fancy Broadway guests, all the latest showbiz gossip, and plenty of witty banter to boot! Come down, grab a cocktail, and why not belt out a few tunes? Sundays at 9:30pm. Gallery Bar @ (Le) Poisson Rouge. Free admission.

This weeks special guests include Joe Iconis (Bloodsong of Love, The Black Suits) and the cast of "Things to Ruin" promoting the release of their cast album! (le) Poisson Rouge is located at 158 Bleeker Street in Manhattan.
