Time Out NY Lounge at New World Stages Gets LUSH & LIVELY 2/4
The Time Out New York Lounge kicks off its new weekly Friday night event, Lush & Lively, with DJ Dan Fortune, on February 4th. Every Friday from 6pm - 9pm enjoy midtown's hottest new cocktail party at The Time Out New YorkLounge with $5 martini specials and an extended Happy Hour! Time Out New York Lounge is located at New World Stages, 340 West 50th Street (between Eighth & Ninth Avenues).
Lush & Lively features a delectable mix of swinging jazz, lush bossa nova, martini classics.... music that makes you feel like you're at a swank international cocktail party. DJ Dan Fortune mixes a unique blend of vintage tunes ranging from disco covers of show tunes to hip '60s pop standards and chart hits. Playboy Magazine declared Lush & Lively is "eclectic and surprising! Lush & Lively makes you feel like you've stepped into an old Bond movie or Playboy After Dark."
Dan Fortune has provided the music at parties for Johnny Weir, Michael Musto, Lisa Rinna and Stevie Nicks, among others, and events for the GLAAD Media Awards, Roundabout Theater, WNYC/New York Public Radio, The Drama Desk Awards, the New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF), 59E59 Theaters, and LifeBeat (The Music Industry Fights AIDS), among many others. Lush & Lively has been featured in The New York Times, New York Magazine, The New York Observer and on NY1 TV.
