The O'Neill Junior Fellows to Bring Music of Dolly Parton to 54 Below Next Month

54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, presents The O'Neill Junior Fellows in Diamond in a Rhinestone World: The Music of Dolly Parton. Grab your cowboy boots and pass the potato salad! Following a recent SOLD-OUT concert at The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center in CT, The O'Neill Junior Fellows bring the Smoky Mountains to New York City!

The O'Neill Junior Fellows, led by director Brad Simmons (thebradsimmons.com), is in its 6th season. The 2015 Juniors include Jake Poulios, Abby Xenelis, Katie Emery, Deanna Weed, Chris Gregor and Allegra Rosa. The band includes Larry Tobias (guitar&banjo), Dave Anderson (bass), Mike Lunoe (drums) and Brad Simmons (piano).

The O'Neill Junior Fellows in Diamond in a Rhinestone World: The Music of Dolly Parton plays 54 Below (254 West 54th Street) on Friday, September 4th, 9:30pm. There is a $35 cover charge and a $25 food and beverage minimum. Tickets and information are available at www.54below.com. This unique scholarship program, part of The O'Neill Theater Center's National Cabaret & Performance Conference, focuses on a two-week study on songwriters from The New American Songbook. Past studies have included The Beatles, Stevie Wonder and Stevie Nicks.The O'Neill Junior Fellows enjoyed a SOLD-OUT performance of Coven: The Music of Stevie Nicks & Fleetwood Mac last year at 54 Below and The Mohegan Sun Casino, where they will return April 2016.
