Starsky + Cox - the couple named "Psychics to the Stars" by Vanity Fair, known for their international best-selling book Sextrology - will bring this season's premier installment of STARRING - A Midsummer's Evening of Entertaining Enlightenment to Joe's Pub at The Public Theater on Sunday, June 21 at 7:00 PM for the summer solstice.

Stella Starsky and Quinn Cox, recognized for their national TV appearances on E! TV's "Chelsea Lately," VH1 and MTV, are the world's favorite (and only) cosmic comics. They unhinge the stars to sprinkle us with wry wisdom and groovy guidance on a magic carpet ride along the astral plane. From reading audience's astrological charts to reporting on the current celestial clime to unleashing the metaphysical power of the Zodiac to delving the kinky corners of the multiverse, Starsky + Cox regale showgoers, in words and music, with their supernatural tales from the synchronistic road less taken, letting us in on the running cosmic joke and revealing why they are the go-to gurus of this or any generation. The evening will feature musical director Matt Ray, Patrick Johnson and special guest Phoebe Legere.

To be considered to have your astrological chart read at the show, email your name plus birth date, time and place to Trip@StarskyandCox.com

Stella Starsky will return to Joe's Pub for the New York debut of her solo play Birth of the American Baroness on Thursday, July 23. Starsky is at turns moving and side-splitting in her piece that explores both the mundane and the mystical implications of modern womandom free from motherhood. Birth of the American Baroness - featuring guest star Brian King and musical director Brett Every - is directed by Maria Silvaggi. The show debuted last year at The Afterglow Festival in Provincetown, MA. The festival, founded by Quinn Cox and John Cameron Mitchell to present both renowned and under-the-radar innovators that continue to evolve the world of live performance, will mark its 5th anniversary in September 2015.

STELLA STARSKY + QUINN COX, a real-life married couple, are modern metaphysicians, cultural commentators and astrological consultants with an international private clientele. Their best-selling book Sextrology: The Astrology of Sex and the Sexes (Harper, 2004) - which has been translated into 15 foreign editions - is a favorite of celebrities Scarlett Johansson, Kim Catrall and Kelly Rippa and is sold at venues such as Marc Jacobs and Colette in Paris. In addition to their follow up, Cosmic Coupling: The Sextrology of Relationships (Crown, 2009), Starsky + Cox have contributed to publications such as Vogue, Allure, Cosmopolitan, The Daily Beast, Elle and Glamour.

Starsky + Cox hosted the public radio show "The Cosmic Connection" from 2008-2012. A podcast of the popular program will debut in 2015. They are regular guests on "Chelsea Lately" and have recently appeared on MTV's "The Guy Code" and VH1's "Big Morning Buzz Live"

Starsky + Cox regularly present their Cosmic Clinic, offering on-the-spot astrological readings at private and charitable events, as well as for the general public at a variety of venues. They are also the purveyors of AsterCast, a starry collection of fine jewelry praised for its "spectacular effect" by Vogue. Starsky + Cox's live, cosmic musical comedy act has also been performed in New York City at Ars Nova and The Zipper Factory, and at Oberon/ART in Cambridge.
