Rory O'Malley to Bring Autobiographical Show PUB CRAWL Back to Joe's Pub, 5/30

By:

After the sold-out premiere of his autobiographical show, PUB CRAWL, Tony Award nominee Rory O'Malley (THE BOOK OF MORMON) will play a return engagement at Joe's Pub on May 30, 2014 at 7 and 9:30pm.

PUB CRAWL is Rory's hilarious coming of age story that tells the tale of being raised in an Irish pub on the west side of Cleveland by his single mom and all of the bar's eclectic patrons. Using classic Irish pub songs from The Wolftones, U2, Van Morrison and more, the evening will feature music direction by Tony and Grammy Award winner, Stephen Oremus.

Come find out why raising an Irish kid doesn't take a village... it takes a pub.

Tickets are available at www.JoesPub.com or by calling 212-967-7555.

Rory O'Malley is best known for starring in the original company of The Book Of Mormon on Broadway. He received both Tony and Drama Desk nominations for playing openly closeted Mormon Elder McKinley and performing the showstopper "Turn It Off". His Broadway debut was in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Regionally, he created the role of Richie Cunningham in Garry Marshall's Happy Days The Musical for Goodspeed Opera House, Paper Mill Playhouse, and recorded the original cast album. Rory expanded his repertoire of pasty white dudes by butchering the song "Cadillac Car" as lead singer of 'Dave and the Sweethearts' in the Paramount Pictures film Dreamgirls. He can also be seen on the small screen in episodes of Nurse Jackie, Law and Order: SVU, 1600 Penn and in the upcoming FX series, Braddock and Jackson, starring alongside Kelsey Grammer and Martin Lawrence. Rory is co-founder of the non-profit organization, Broadway Impact that mobilizes theatre communities across the country, and around the world, to take action for marriage equality. www.roryomalley.com.
