No Name Presents The Uptown Cabaret Singers Showcase at Word Up Bookshop
Vetter, who has produced shows at alternative venues and performance spaces throughout the city for over 20 years, called the Uptown Cabaret a great opportunity for singers, composers and lyricists to share their art in a safe and fun place. The monthly show, which was situated in Inwood for 4.5 years, featured such stellar talents as Amanda Baker, Joshua Cohen, Brown Furlow and Greta Herron. Admission is FREE, donations welcomed. Word Up Community Bookshop/Libreria Communitaria is located at 2113 Amsterdam Avenue (corner of 165th Street) in Manhattan.
