Nicholas Barasch And Kerry Ipema Set For Gorgeous: A Barbara Harris Tribute At The Green Room 42

She was a founding member of Chicago's Second City, a treasured Tony Award winning performer, and a sought-after Oscar-nominated film actor who often evaded the limelight in favor of "the work." At 83, the legendary Barbara Harris passed away on August 21st of this year. The Green Room 42 is proud to present an evening of song and remembrance with Gorgeous: A Barbara Harris Tribute on Tuesday, October 2nd at 7pm.

The cast is led by Nicholas Barasch (She Loves Me, Big River) and Kerry Ipema (One Woman Sex and the City). They will be joined by AJ Blankenship (Bring it On), Michael Cummings (Don't Touch Your Eyes After Chopping Jalepenos), Justin Henry (The Love Show), Lindsay Morgan (SIREN), Cherish Myers (Disney's The Happiest Millionaire 50th Anniversary), Vanessa Pereda-Felix (Addy & Uno), Jason Pintar (The Underpants Godot), Cassandra Sandberg (The Producers), Jana DeBusk, and Adam Elsberry.

Intertwining the shared memories of long-time friends and colleagues (both in person and via video) with carefully curated HD montages of rarely-seen footage, Gorgeous: A Barbara Harris Tribute is an adoring reminiscence, lush with exciting live performances from Ms. Harris' body of work, including numbers from On a Clear Day You Can See Forever, The Apple Tree, Nashville, Freaky Friday, and A Thousand Clowns.

Gorgeous is conceived and directed by Alex Beck (Disney's The Happiest Millionaire 50th Anniversary) with music direction by Andy Roninson (Take a Ten Podcast).

Ticket sales from Gorgeous will benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, an organization that became and remained dear to Ms. Harris after losing close friends to the epidemic.
