Moth favorite Brad Lawrence and two time FringeNYC award winner Cyndi Freeman have asked their friends from the New York storytelling community to share stories about people who inspire them; historical figures, family members & ancestors, mentors or that guy that your friend told you about, these are tales of legendary individuals; well known and unknown, the awesome people who make us want to be more awesome.
Cast: Cyndi Freeman, Brad Lawrence, Jim O'Grady, Amy Pascale and Jeff Simmermon.
Brad Lawrence and Cyndi Freeman (AKA: Handsome Brad and Cherry Pitz) present experimental ideas and general coolness on stage with the help of the best and brightest performers from the storytelling, burlesque, and sideshow scenes of New York and beyond.
This November, FRIGID New York @ Horse Trade presents Third Annual Gotham Storytelling Festival. With a mix of personal narratives and fictional stories, this year's festival promises to break the mold and bring you stories that are both intensely individual and strikingly universal. In addition to hand-picked performers from the vibrant New York storytelling scene, the festival will feature "Best in Show," an open mic hosted by Brad Lawrence and a panel discussion on the Future of Storytelling. Don't miss out on five days of stories that will make you want to laugh, cry and hear more.
