MacCallum to Appear at Duplex in MATCHMAKER, 10/2-3 &11/1

Matchmaker, Matchmaker: I'm Willing to Settle, a musical guide to Internet dating with Nikki MacCallum will be featured at The Duplex (61 Christopher Street at Seventh Avenue) on October 2 at 4:30pm, October 3 at 7pm November 1 at 7pm.

Making her cabaret debut - Nikki MacCallum! Since graduating cum laude from New York University with a degree in vocal performance, Nikki has been pursuing a career as an actress, continuing her vocal skills study with one of Broadway's top coaches and successful cabaret performers, Ms. Marianne Challis, and writing the saga of one young woman's Internet dating experiences!
The songs are by Elmer Bernstein and Carolyn Leigh, Trisha Yearwood and Anne Hampton Calloway, Amanda McBroom (e.g., Miss MacCallum's version of "Dieter's Prayer" is something to see and hear), Stephen Sondheim, and others. The song selection moves "the true stories" of Internet dating along greatly, complementing Miss MacCallum's original, witty book.
Musical direction and arrangements are by Michael Foreman. Staging is by Kevin Moon Loh. Miss MacCallum's personal caterer is Boston Market.
