MEAN GIRLS Star Daniel Franzese Returns To The Laurie Beechman Theatre Oct. 5

Now Daniel Franzese & THE HOUSE OF GLEN COCO returns to NYC with a brand new evening of stand up comedy and storytelling -- featuring special guests John Early, Mur and Shane Shane. Originally from Brooklyn, Daniel Franzese has become a well-known proponent and speaker for the LGBT community and thought leader for body positivity. His upbeat high energy comedy act captures his amazing and quirky life in the entertainment industry, as well as hilarious stories about his Italian family. In addition to "Mean Girls" and "Looking," Daniel Franzese has co-starred on TV shows including Freeform's "Recovery Road" and ABC's "Conviction" as well as in movies including "Bully" and "I Spit On Your Grave". He has cracked us up on everything from "The Comeback" to "Party Down," as well as his YouTube viral smash "Sh*t Italian Moms Say" (which has racked up over 5 million views). And, of course, you loved him As Santa opposite Alaska, Courtney Act and Willam in the AAA Girls' "Dear Santa, Bring Me A Man" video.

John Early is a comedian who recently wrote, executive produced, and starred in his own episode of Netflix's The Characters. He has appeared on TV in Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp, 30 Rock, Broad City, Difficult People, High Maintenance, Love, and Animals and in the films Other People, Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising, Fort Tilden, and The Greggs. He plays Elliott in Search Party on TBS and will soon appear in the films Beatriz at Dinner and The Masterpiece. He was a writer for Season 4 of Billy on the Street. He is an Artist in Residence and Comedy Curator at Ars Nova, where he hosts the monthly variety show Showgasm. He performs his solo show Literally Me (4 time New York Times Critics' Pick) at Joe's Pub and The Bell House, and co-hosts a weekly stand up show at Cake Shop. He has performed stand up at various comedy festivals including Montreal Just For Laughs, Bonnaroo, South by Southwest, Pemberton, Treasure Island, Outside Lands, Riot LA, and Festival Supreme. He was born in Nashville, Tennessee and is a graduate of the Atlantic Acting School at Tisch School of the Arts NYU.

MUR is a New York City based composer and performance artist. He has exhibited solo works for Jill Platner, Justin Vivian Bond, Alan Cummings, Creatures of Comfort; Illesteva, Soho House, and Tictail. Shane Shane / Shane O'Neill is a writer, performer, and video-maker. He and his work have appeared at Joe's Pub, The New York Times, The Huffington Post, Refinery29, ArtNews New York, and at too many gay bars and DIY queer venues to mention here. He has performed extensively in the US and Europe with his Shane Shane music project. His one-man variety show Tonight's Special occurs the first Tuesday of every month at Sid Gold's Request Room.
