Josh Young, Robin de Jesus, Chris McCarrell & More Set for '#tbtLIVE THROWBACK THURSDAY' at Feinstein's/54 Below
On Thursday, January 7th a cast of Broadway favorites will once again bring the popular instagram/twitter trend of #tbt to the stage of 54 Below with #tbtLIVE Throwback Thursday: The Concert. This will be the 3rd concert in the popular series.
The 11:30pm concert will star Robin de Jesus (Wicked, In the Heights), Dan DeLuca (Newsies national tour), Adam Kantor (Fiddler on the Roof, The Last 5 Years), Meg Maley ("Big Brother") Alli Mauzy (Wicked, Cry-Baby), Chris McCarrell (Les Miserables), Jonah Platt (Wicked), Alexandra Silber (Fiddler on the Roof, Master Class), Marcus Stevens (Forbidden Broadway), and Josh Young (Amazing Grace, Jesus Christ Superstar).
Press notes describe the concert as: "We all love an embarrassing #tbt, but for one night only, put down your iPhone, close out your instagram, and ignore your twitter feed, because 54 Below has the greatest #tbt in town! Join a cast of Broadway favorites ready to throw it back to the greatest performances that only their mothers saw. #tbtLIVE brings throwback Thursday center stage. Literally. From summer camp to college, and everything in between, this one night only event features Broadway stars reprising performances from the days when they were just broadway babies. Embarrassing photos and videos included."
The concerts will feature music direction by Drew Wutke and are produced by Shoshana Feinstein & Samantha Massell.
