The Ensemblist, the only podcast that shows you Broadway from the inside out, announces new guests for its first anniversary live show - a week from today!

Talented duo Jeff Pew and Luke Hawkins will join the already announced line-up of Ariana Debose, Rachel Bay Jones, Alysha Umphress, Daniel Watts, and a special appearance by The Skivvies: Nick Cearley and Lauren Molina.

Hosts Mo Brady and Nikka Graff Lanzarone have invited these Broadway performers to the stage to celebrate their ensemblist experiences. Not only will each guest be interviewed live, they'll strut their stuff with special performances as well. Each of our guests is a talented Broadway performer who have rocked their own solo shows around the city. So our show is kind of a "Best of Broadway" revue for those interested in what happening - and what's next for Broadway.

The one night only performance will take place at New York City's legendary Birdland: 315 West 44th Street at 9pm on Monday, June 16. Tickets are available for $25 (plus a $10 food and drink minimum) at birdlandjazz.com.

Some of the guests, like Rachel Bay Jones, are established Broadway stars, but started out working in the ensemble. With those guests, we pass on asking them about their leading roles, something they've typically shared with the press numerous times - and ask them about the roles and experiences that got them their start.

Other guests, like Ariana Debose and Alysha Umprhess, have understudied many leading roles in Broadway ensembles, and are on the brink of playing leading parts. So coming to the live show is a chance to see these star-to-be performances.

All of our guests are doing so much more than standing at the mic and belting show tunes. Whether it be Daniel Watts as a his electric spoken word-style performances, or Jeff Pew & Luke Hawkins, who do this crazy piano/tap duet that's so fun and charming, all of the performances at the live show will be beyond what you think of a typical cabaret.

We think of The Ensemblist for those who are passionate about Broadway. Whether you're a casual theatre fan or an experienced professional, we think everyone can enjoy hearing from these artists what it's like to work on Broadway.

The Ensemblist is an inside look at the experience of being a Broadway performer- from the first rehearsal through performing eight shows a week and beyond. Whether you're an experienced theatre professional or a passionate fan, The Ensemblist will give you the opportunity to get to know new performers and the great work they do onstage, while also shedding light on some of the hidden innerworkings of the Broadway experience. Created and hosted by Mo Brady (The Addams Family, SMASH) and Nikka Graff Lanzarone (Chicago, Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown), The Ensemblist is the only podcast that shows you Broadway from the inside out.
