Jamie deRoy to Bring ABANDA Variety Show to Metropolitan Room, 7/1
Celebrated cabaret performer Jamie deRoy will present AbandA, for a special evening of her Multi MAC Award-Winning Variety Show, Jamie deRoy & friends, on Monday, July 1st (7PM) at New York's wonderfully-appointed cabaret hot-spot Metropolitan Room (34 West 22nd Street ~ btw. 5th & 6th Avenues).
Back from their triumphant tour of Morocco, singer/songwriters, world travelers and bon vivants Amanda Homi, David Buskin and Jake Holmes, or, as they are better known throughout North Africa, AbandA, will be bringing their unique blend of World-Folk-Rock-Jazz-Poetry to the stage. Come and enjoy their heady lyrics, cool vocal stylings, instrumental clams and somewhat witty banter. Jamie will be a special guest artist as part of the evening's festivities!
