Award winning actress and Broadway vet Christine Pedi will bring her cabaret show "Holly Jolly Christmas Folly" will play the Laurie Beechman Theatre every Monday beginning November 30th and running through December 21st, with a final run of the show from December 26th through December 30th. The show features Pedi's Broadway imitations around a holiday-centered theme.

Christine Pedi won the 2008 New York Nightlife Award, Backstage Bistro Award, and received a MAC (Manhattan Association of Cabarets) nomination for Great Dames. She was Drama?Desk nominated and won the Dramalogue Award as a star of the long-running satirical "Forbidden Broadway". She also starred in the London premiere of "Forbidden?Broadway" at Jermyn Street Theatre, later transferring to the Albery Theatre in the West End. Her long association with "Forbidden Broadway" also earned her an LA Ovation award and lots of frequent flyer miles, for productions in Tokyo, Singapore, South Africa, Australia, Los?Angeles and beyond.

Pedi recently attended the MAC Award (Manhattan Association of Cabarets) having been nominated for her solo shows "Now I Have Everything: The Lyrics of Sheldon Harnick" and "Holly Jolly Christmas Folly."

She was most recently on Broadway in Eric Bogosians "Talk Radio", starring Liev Schrieber. Her Broadway debut was in the revival of "Little Me", starring Martin Short. Other stage credits include "The A Train Plays", "The 24 Hour Plays", Edith Wharton's "Xingu", "Dalliance in Vienna" at the American Theatre of Actors, Fanny Brice in "Hello Dolly!", Audrey in "Little Shop of Horrors", "A Broadway Diva Christmas" and Carlotta the Gypsy Cow (don't ask). Christine has performed with Marvin Hamlish and the Indianapolis Symphony as well as many other orchestras throughout the US and Canada, and has sung for President and Mrs Clinton (playing Hilary). On TV, fans of "The Sopranos" may recognise her as the dearly departed Mrs Bobby Baccala (he loved her so much he couldnt' defrost her ziti).

Pedi is set to join the cast of Rick Crom's musical revue NEWSICAL THE MUSICAL, set to begin performances at the 47th Street Theatre, beginning previews November 24th and set for an opening on December 9th.
