It was announced today by Broadway at Birdland that Capathia Jenkins and Louis Rosen's scheduled concert has been canceled. Press representatives apologized to fans for any inconvenience this cancellation may have caused. Broadway at Birldand hopes to reschedule the concert, though no firm dates have been announced.

Jim Caruso's Cast Party was to present the return of acclaimed performing duo 'Capathia Jenkins and Louis Rosen on Monday, October 6, 2008, at 7:00pm. The set was to be part of the Nightlife Award-winning concert series Broadway at Birdland, long a staple at the legendary club. Jenkins is best known for her Broadway resume ('Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me;' 'Caroline, Or Change'), while Rosen, a noted songwriter/guitarist, had penned many of the duo's offerings.

Recently featured on NY1, Broadway at Birdland was created by acclaimed performer, writer, producer & presenter Jim Caruso. Broadway at Birdland is a weekly concert series on Sunday and Monday evenings, showcasing legendary Broadway performers and composers, as well as up-and-coming musical theater talents. The series started as a companion piece to the hugely popular and hilarious weekly impromptu variety show Jim Caruso's Cast Party (which follows Mondays at 9:30pm)
